This finish was specially designed for these walls. The fireplace mantel has been given a faux bois in walnut.
Special attention was spent getting just the right red for this beautiful study of wood panels with a strie' glaze

The first wash on these walls was a soft gold. It was followed by a blue green.
Several different colored strie' are built up on the surface to give a beautiful depth and complexity to the color.

This is a photo of a kitchen with the original wall paper in place. After a number of years it showed a great deal of wear.
The paper was replicated using painting techniques of combing and strie' in alternating stripes, along with meticulous color matching.
